A Pig's Ear.
Following on from my last post where I pointed out how the public do not take enough responsibility for their own thefts and burglaries, I would like to even the score. The fact is that we police do not accept nearly enough blame for the criminal acts of others.
See this example, where South Wales Police fluffed an investigation into a paedophile kidnapping. The paedophile himself was just one cause of the child's ordeal, and it is quite clear that the manufacturers of the car he drove, as well as Swindon Borough Council, should share some blame. Moreover, every officer on-duty at the time should have been fired, if not put before a court and jailed. It just is not good enough that crimes can take place in the area of any police force, and Chief Constables must be held to account for the depraved and criminal urges of others.
It all comes back to our old friend, Accountability. Blaming the offenders just will not do.

IPCC Wales Commissioner Tom Davies said South Wales Police had made the mistake of not considering whether the abduction had been carried out for sexual motives when it was first reported.
For too long the police have lazed about, ignoring the public's need for them to use their superhuman ESP powers resulting in more children being abused every day! It's high time someone in authority accepted this, even it it turned out to be a Welsh commissioner. The whingers will no doubt carry on about the girl being found alive and the perpetrator being caught and jailed, but this was a child and there's much more blame to spread around! After a thorough forensic investigation of Craig Sweeney's computer we can look forward to lawsuits against BT Online, Google and Yahoo at the very least. They also should've used their ESP to know what Sweeney was up to.

How does the car maker share the blame? I couldn't figure that one out, at all.
This girl has my sympathy. I hope she recovers completely. I hope that the perpetrator does not have an easy time in custody.

How could they think to sue the car manufacturer without suing the petrol company that provided the fuel? Without that a car is just an expensive hunk of metal and plastic.
Topping it off (I'm in rare form today) ESSO and Shell have a lot more money on hand than Vauxhall and Ford.

Bloggs - Unles you are secretly a special, then presumably you infact receive some sort of financial remuneration for your fuzzy logic activities.
That being the case I suspect you have blown your chance of gold at the Olympic 100yd scrote chase.

Personally I blame the makers of crystal balls and the fact that no police force seems interested in investing in one for use by rank and file front line officers. Why I want to know are senior officers allowed to gaze into them while the rest of us have to make do with ournavels?

By blaming the police she gets to not blame herself, of course, which makes for happier times for her. Poor kid.
