I've just finished your book and really enjoyed it. Nice to see all the madness is a National Epidemic and not just confined to my little corner of England.
PS I still think its better than PCDC book.

I have also just finished it and I agree that it is a great read, laughed on every page. Loved the Inspector in charge of being responsible character.

Still trying to get a copy brought in by one of the local booksellers here. I might end up having to order it from Amazon, but I would love to see it on the shelves here if possible.
Interestingly enough, I am going to be lent a copy this week by an English copper (yet another!) who has just come over to apply for the police service here!
You know that we will always have a spot for you here on the cold side of the pond if you want to follow Copperfield's lead, right, PC Bloggs?

Well, I got your book. Read the first half then couldn't read any more.
No fault on your part though. It's been hijacked by Mrs Busy who's only ever shown minimal interest in Police stuff before!
Feel free to use that as an endorsement on the next re-print.
P.S. The half I did read was great. Especially loved the DV victim plastered in cheap make-up.

Not that I wouldn't have a couple of points of constructive criticism to make of course.
Sod it - it should have been me! I've had much longer on the job.
Monday books picked you because you're a disloyal whiner. When the going gets tough you carp and bleat and moan, write a load of crap slagging off your mates and then piss off to Canada.
Go then and good riddance.

I just got your book and am only about half way though. I think it is great. So have logged onto your blogg site as well for the first time. What an eye opening insight. SO much so I even started my own blogg, about my expereinces of trying to become a WPO. Thanks for making my laugh, your book is great reading.
